“ what could i want from y’ .. ? you’re a stranger. ” he wasn’t wrong -- she had been staring. intently so, even. she was used to seeing au’ra, yet not many that reached a height like his. almost imposing, especially when compared to her much more petite build and frame. yet, it was his hair that her eyes fell upon particularly. what had been a rather beautiful braid -- and she had no qualms voicing as much to a stranger. kehda was nothing if not very bold about her thoughts. sometimes intentionally to keep people at a distance.
a small smirk pulled upon her lips. “ jus’ think y’ have nice hair, s’all. ” she didn’t need anything in particular. there was nothing a stranger could do for her that she could easily do for herself. he stood out among the others around, and perchance it was rude to stare, but pretending she hadn’t been doing so would be outright foolish. “ i like the color. ”
His expression could be depicted as skeptical at best. There were a number of reasons that a stranger might approach him. Sometimes tracking him down for a contract, sometimes for a night of fun. He’d obviously been expecting something at least. So when she did naught but compliment his hair, he shot her a look from the corner of his eye.
Silence met her words at first, as he took another drag of his cigarette, exhaled, and flicked the rest of it away. Only then did he address her.
“It wouldn’t happen to be because it’s so similar to your own, I take it?” He asked, eyes flicking over her form with an arched brow.
Their colors seemed to be where most of the similarities stopped. He was rough, menacing. She wasn’t. She seemed petite, and that smirk left him mildly unsettled - though he wasn’t about to show it.
Huffing, the Au’Ra moved to lean against the wall closest to him, arms folding across his chest as he sized her up, only mildly curious.
“...You know, most women that approach me out of the blue usually expect me to take ‘em to bed. I’d say you don’t look the type but I’ve been surprised before.”
