I just wanted to say first of all *hugs*, and secondly I think you are an amazing person. I’m sorry your parents are so hung up in their own ways/thoughts/ideas that they can’t see you for the beautiful person that you are.

I think the age gap between us doesn't help but eh you can't control that so I don't get hung up on that too much. (My parents are 30 years older than me.) Once this economy turns around and we somehow get more financial stability I think that'll help too. Money sucks.
