DAY 010/365
Wake me up, wake me up inside (I can't wake up)
I'm behind with my challenge because these days I'm more corpse than usual.
My own OCs are bullying me. What a shame.
Two speedpaints based on some roleplay sessions I had on Twitter. 1h each. Knull is a Venom character, Auzar is one of my ocs from an original setting. I’ve adapted them to work in the marvel universe.
Another Venom sketch dump! 1. A birthday gift for @themanofathousandsecondchances 2. I needed Eddie and the Venom symbiote to be soft 3. CAT BOY SLEEPER. And actual cat Sleeper. 4. Talking with a friend how it looked like Knull and Dylan were figure skating in a panel. Somehow Yuri on Ice was remembered. Now Knull and Eddie are gonna join the Olympic Games I dunno. 5. Same friend suggested Knull was scared of vacuum cleaners considering what happens to him at the end of KIB 6. Do you feel dominated by your wife meme with the memeOTP.
Made as samples, I’m always happy when I get to draw and paint them! Auzar and Abysmass are part of a bigger original setting I’m writing and planning and with time you’ll se more of them (and all the other characters) Here are both in mortal form but they look quite different when they don’t have to blend with mortal beings. Auzar used to be the Herald of an Eldritch Star who desired to reach the highest level of godhood, but after its (and their) death, they started a new existence elsewhere, leaving behind their past and people. Abysmass is an Eldritch Blackhole born from the death of the forementioned deity, the one who originally killed Auzar who has spent plenty of time on a genocidal crusade (but I swear, it’s a lot more complicated than this.) At one point he will reach the mortal realm, seeking for something long lost. (I need to find this saga a name... or a placeholder name, I dunno.)
Some studies to improve my photobashing, overpainting and painting technique. The goal is to achieve something like cinematic visuals with various moods which I use to visually narrate the rps I do with my friends on twitter! (That’s why there are both Miraak from Skyrim and Dylan from Venom... My character kinda works in the multifandom world) I help myself with various screenshots from 3d models or videogames I take myself and photos to create a base to paint on! It’s a faster funny way to get credible results in little time (a lot used in the industry too!)
Some personal shitpost art to fight the burn out back. Based on the backstory of Auzar, one of my ocs I roleplay in the Venom fandom featuring Knull. Fascinated by his nature and wanting to defy their mission to fight him, they lowered their guard, endind up stabbed (and choked) to death.
I made another shitpost comic for Auzar and Knull slices of life AU in my little free time. Yes the Knull tag is doomed to have my cursed content, sorry people.
