Ava doesn’t ask MC to or even bring up prom
MC takes it upon themselves to invite her to Prom, they don’t want to go overboard seeing how it’s not Ava’s style, but they want to do something more than a casual text
They make a poster and glue all kinds of images of the two of them together

Ava texts them the day they’re planning to ask with a casual text
Ava: Are we going to prom together or what?
MC: Are you fucking kidding me? i planned an entire thing for you
Ava: yeah someone has loose lips
Lucas accidentally lets it slip to her while they were hanging out that MC was planning to ask her at lunch that day with a poster
MC figures out it was Lucas and don’t talk to him for a few days until Lucas offers to go with them to buy her a corsage and pay for it.

MC, of course, accepts the offer to save money, and Lucas manages not to let Ava talk it out of him that MC was doing that small romantic gesture.
Ava wears a Victorian style black dress with touches of red, she wears a pair of black thigh high boots where she’s managed to tuck her knife into already, her hair cascades down her shoulders with a slight wave
“Holy crap, are you gorgeous,” MC tells her about 50 times throughout the whole night, which Ava gags at every time with a sarcastic comment
Ava and MC go out to dinner for their date, it’s quiet in a nice way and MC basically grins the entire and Ava rolls her eyes at them every time she notices they’re still doing it
They talk about different things, Ava opens up to them about her informative measures in learning about Redfield are going
MC and Ava walk back to MC’s house hand in hand the cool breeze blowing around them that makes Ava smiles enjoying the warmth of MC’s hand
the limo is waiting for them when they arrive and Stacy scolds them for being 3 minutes late, Lily rolls her eyes pushing her shoulder

Everyone laughs and Stacy passes out glasses of sparkling cider for everyone to enjoy, MC still hands Ava’s hand in their lap, she either doesn’t care or pretends to not care
When they finally make it to prom they do a photo shoot outside, Britney has 3 selfie sticks in her bag and everyone gives her the same look they gave Stacy, Stacy also brought her selfie stick, Tom forgot his selfie stick in the car and doesn’t mention he brought it
Ava protests to almost every picture, but ends up being in about half of them, MC kisses her cheek for their personal photo and MC could swear they see her blushing slightly in the picture, which she denies profusely
Inside the dance, the entire crew does the sprinkler, Britney joins in as soon as Lily does until Dan and Ava are watching everyone embarrass themselves.
“No matter how lame this is, I got to do it for MC or I’ll never hear the end of it,” Ava tells Dan before doing it alongside MC who laughs with her
Stacy gets Dan to join them (more like forces, but Stacy adamantly denies she forced Dan into doing any dancing)
Britney and Stacy twerk against the wall before going into a sultry dance routine they learned at cheer putting on a show for everyone, the crowd yells and Andy wolf-whistles at them
They both end the routine back to back, before hugging each other laughing really hard, as Mr. Cooper approaches them and warns them they’ll be kicked out if they do that again, of course, the girls are laughing way too hard still to care.
Stacy and Dan campaign for Prom King and Queen that year, against Ben and his girlfriend, who doesn’t look all that thrilled to be on the court that year
“This years homecoming royalty is….. Stacy Green and Dan Pierce!”
Stacy makes a quick speech in which she tells Ben to suck it, and everyone cheers loudly laughing at Ben who sneers from the crowd storming off. Dan and Stacy do their first dance as royalty.
A few upbeat songs play before a slow one, Ava gravitates towards MC pulling them into a slow dance position without saying anything about it, her arms gliding around MC’s waist, MC’s around her neck listening to Ava breathe.

“Me too Ava. I’m happy we’re here together.”
She doesn’t say anything just kisses MC on the lips.softly before they can start getting emotional or throw out the word love, after kissing for awhile MC rests their head on her shoulder looking around. Britney kisses Lily softly, Dan and Stacy smile at each other as he spins her around, Lucas is glaring at Andy who steps on his shoes, and Tom hugs himself spinning himself
MC and Ava sneak out of prom leaving to walk around a bit, they find themselves a park near Ava’s house sitting on the bench, Ava holds MC’s hold and smiles at MC
MC leans over kissing Ava softly, her hands running down MC’s back as they climb onto her lap, their legs wrapping around her waist. The tilts her head to the side deepening the kiss, and they go on for what feels like years just being together and making out in this park
MC shivers pulling away from Ava
“It’s cold out tonight.”
“you can come over and watch Ghost Hunters… or something if you want.”
“I’d love that.”
