“What exactly am I looking at?” In a nod to the display’s towering presence, Honoura had to take a couple of steps back to crane her neck enough to see the top of it. She wondered at first how Avali got it indoors, when it struck her a cake this size wasn’t typically left outside for one to bring in on their own. This was delivered. It was a lovely cake, honestly. Flowers made of spun sugar, in half a dozen shades of pink and an equal number of types of flowers. It was six tiers tall and smelled wonderful.
“If you think that’s rich, get a look at this.” A note fluttered in front of the midlander’s face, which she plucked from her sister’s hands to read for herself. Eyebrows furrowed, then raised, then furrowed again. A couple of quiet utterances of “what” escaped. She looked up and squinted at her sister, then went back to reading.
“Well?”
“I. I think my teeth might be rotting out?” Honoura said, re-reading the missive again,”Does he... talk like this to you?”“He thinks he’s a poet?”“Have you told him it’s not a crime to compare every part of his muse’s body to a flower?”
“Not yet, it’s too funny.”

Take care of yourself first friend ♥ you can torture me later
TBH it’s been better since I’ve stopped beating myself up over it. If I wake up at four AM, I pick up my phone and write a little and that makes my brain chill out enough to sleep. But it’s still been more than a month now and it’s finally kicking my ass.

To be fair it’s really cool looking if you mean the one at Ikea lmao
YES IT’S THE IKEA ONE I WANT IT SO BAD. SO MUCH ROOM FOR MY MONITORS AND SPEAKERS. The only thing I don’t like is that weird divot in the front edge of the desk. If it wasn’t there, I’d have plenty of room to draw on my sketchbook.
I GOT PRONOUN BUTTONS YALL
@avalises
I still love you and adore you, dear.

Did the stars shine brighter here, or did the Steppe just feel that much closer to the sky? Aidan judged he could see a good half malm, maybe a bit further after dark. Above him, the sky winked and flickered, a thousand thousand tiny lights in a sea of blue black. A shimmering ocean in the sky. He and Laidy were skirting the grassy sea -- if he had his bearings right, they’d be to the Ruby Sea. After that, Kugane, assuming they could pay the tithe. Also assuming they weren’t just killed on sight. And after that...The future beyond that stretched out and seemed to go on forever. Thinking about what it might look like felt daunting. He’d never thought further ahead than a couple of weeks, typically. Now that he had the chance for more, he realized he wasn’t sure if he was ready to take it.

My turn! (for either, both?)
Send “My Turn!” for dialogue my muse would have while in a party with yours.
Honoura Hawke and Avali Nahsra join your party!
“Anythin’ that’ll help me not trip over myself?” - Starting line“I’ve got you covered!” - Assisting“Permission we don’t tell Aidan about this?” - Being assisted“Ohhhhnononono please” - Witnessing Avali KO“Don’t count on that fancy footwork to save you.” - Upon Revival“[applause]” - Witnessing Avali LB“Think they liked the show.” - Finishing line
The dungeon is a stage, and it is primarily Avali’s. The dancer’s flashier fighting style contrasts sharply with Honoura’s – if things are going smoothly there’s a harmless dig or two about it. But where Avali will usually put on an exuberant air for the whole of the dungeon, Hon’s response to it shifts depending on the environment. If it’s darker or somewhere more menacing she is less inclined to go along with the act. Also, if there is a party wipe, both will mutually agree they are not telling their brother about that, it’s embarrassing.
