Yesterday I ran the Avalon 50 miler. I think it went pretty decently. This race has been on my list of races I’ve wanted to do ever since I came out to Catalina island for the first time as part of a school field trip back in 2015. Didn’t intend to run fast but when you’re being chased for 20+ miles, it’s kinda hard not to.
