@avalthollr
@avalthollr has come to say hello!
“Your husband.”
Idunn was rarely mad. To be fair, she had long since realized her anger never got her anywhere. Her rosy, youthful face was sweet and cute, not exactly prime to express rage. Stomping your feet and yelling wasn’t threatening when you were as tiny as she. No, Idunn instead would pout her way to getting what she wanted. It worked fine most of the time.
But now, she was mad.
“Your huuuus-band,” She waggled a finger, “Has some nerve, Sigyn. Does he think I do not remember Þjazi, and how it was his fault that I was kidnapped?! Like, sæll?! And now he comes to me for my apples. I ought to let him age to dust! Is that not within my right, Sigyn?!”

“Father, can’t I come with you?” Runa, Nari’s only child, pleaded once more as they approached the palace, riding atop a very, very large draft horse. “Please? I promise I won’t get in the way, I’ll stay quiet, I promise!” Nari did his best to ignore her for now, figuring she would eventually get the hint. No is no is no. Too bad Runa was as stubborn as her father.
“Runie, I said no. The mountain troll would eat you, you’re too small.” Before she could even open her mouth to object once more, claiming she could easily fight them off, Nari stopped the horse and dismounted, taking Runa down with him. “You will spend the day, and perhaps the night, with your grandparents. Look, your grandmother is already waiting for you.”
Runa of course loved to spend time with her grandmother. Sigyn always took such good care of her, and honestly Runa knew she could do pretty much whatever she pleased, but still. She wanted to go see mountain trolls.
“Hello, gran.”
❛ Wait. . . ❜ A look of disbelief spreads over Sigyn’s face. ❛ There is free candy!? ❜ Disbelief morphs into joyful excitement as she grins. ❛ Count me in too!! ❜
“Well then, we’ll have to find you a costume. I don’t think that you would like anything that I would try for but you can try them and see if you can find one you like.” Natasha rubs her hands together with glee and giggles like a child, this is the one holiday of the year that she loves and like she said getting free candy was like the best “Then we’ll have to plot a course through the streets of New York to all of the buildings giving out candy and go knock on doors. That’s how Halloween works.”

Spooktacular adventures
Halloween for the past few years always was the time of chaos in the house. Juggling all of the children though at times frustrating he found it was also rewarding seeing them so excited. The chaos was in getting them all ready and dressed for trick or treating. Normally Loki would have kept it confined to the shops and adventure park down stairs in the lower levels of the casino but this time it had seemed several moms from the school had invited the boys to join their friends in the neighborhood.
The penthouse was a mess of pieces of costumes strewn about, the boys having dressed themselves, Liv currently on the brink of tantrum given Loki was trying to fit Kayla in her Tinkerbell outfit. It was harder this time given the addition to the one year old twins currently wiggling around in their playpen.
“Hey, hey! Enough of that”, he said pointing at Liv while he tried to fix the wings to Kayla’s costume. “Baby girl, I don’t think this velcro is going to hold. We might have to pin these but we’re gonna have to wait till Mama comes home”, he said with a sigh.
“Kay Dada,” Kayla replied with a smile as she hopped around the room. Liv of course having none of it as she sat on the floor livid that her father was not paying mind to her as he should. Before he could give her attention the boys seemed to have been causing a comotion in the other room their voices raised. Loki silently praying his wife would return home soon.
