After multifarious, what do you plan on writing next?
OKAY SO
Here’s the thing: I’m terrible with follow through.
I’ve actually got a ton of ideas but do I ever write them? No. and when I do I generally don’t follow through with them. Like no one will ever understand how astounded I am over how far I’ve gotten on Multifarious.
With that said, I do currently have a Jasper/Oc fanfic posted that I haven’t completely abandoned, but here are some other fledgling ideas:
(DC/Young Justice) Dick Grayson/Oc: The one where Selina Kyle has a niece who isn’t big on the hero-ing but is sort of always there when Robin needs back up. Involves a lot of sass and bendy teen heroes doing sick tricks.
(Bleach) Toshiro Hitsugaya/Oc: The one that involves a whole subset of people I made up called Seishin No Kajiya which literally translates to Spirit Blacksmiths in English. They are Souls who have died with strong will in their hearts, and instead of going to the afterlife, if they meet certain specifications, they basically get a second chance at life but here’s the catch: they are to become blacksmiths who are capable of creating ‘living’ vessels for Zanpakuto that can manifest in the world of the living. These vessels allow for all kinds of special boosts when fighting. There aren’t many left, and they rarely create vessels any more because it would upset the balance. Most Soul Society’s (because the Japanese one isn’t the only home to Souls within he many cultures of the world) all have different names for these people, and they are thought to be myths.
And basically this gets really complicated because I’d have to flesh out a whole bunch of other details. The basis is that the OC is a fledgling blacksmith who gets caught up in some clash involving Shinigami and the rest of her tiny community. Blacksmith’s aren’t actually all powerful, so she has a lot of trouble trying to find her own strength and define her boundaries, and Toshiro fits in bc he has a lot of his own things to work out still and it’s just an adventure™ that needs more planning and is mostly just me wanting to write the white haired ice boy growing up and getting laid.
(Harry Potter) Theodore Nott/Oc: The one where Theo is dealing with his frankly toxic home life by being completely aloof, and the stereotypical Slytherin asshole. Involves an OC who is a muggle born from America. She’s at Hogwarts bc her Mom is a US soldier stationed in Britain. They meet one night and it’s basically a random thing, and they don’t even know who the other is but they end up talking and eventually Theo notices that there is more to the world than what his family has confined him too. Theo deals with intensely harmful coping mechanisms and his impending role in the war, while OC deals with her own place in the world as a muggle born who’s caught squarely in the quickly collapsing system because of her mom’s career. (Bc let’s be real this war had to have affected more then just Britain and I wanna look at that. This OC has maybe experienced extremist groups in the US already because there are racists everywhere and etc…) But this isn’t necessarily a true romance because for Theo it begins more with obsession bc he’s dealing with all the dark shit his father has done/ make him do/done to him and when his current coping mechanisms clash with their friendship he turns those urges on her and hence the more obsession piece. For the OC it’s more of a fascination that turns into a sense of kind of desperate obligation that turns into a like/love later. Lots of dark things here tbh. Deals with abuse, addiction, and coming of age types of things.
There is a possibility of a Soul Mate AU here as well. I was thinking of doing the one where a mark appears on your soul mate I’m the first place you touch them.
(Naruto) Kisame/Itachi/Oc OR Akatsuki Harem/Oc: Basically here is a heavy AU where The Alatsuki is basically a political outlier that works to keep order behind the scenes. Order, of course, is entirely objective and instead having all those rules of war and codes that the Kages have to deal with they’re the people who would totally wipe out entire cities to keep things in order. They still have ulterior motives, but for now the great powers like Konoha see the benefits of not starting a war with those guys at the moment. I’d need to work on this more bc it’s. Not solid.
But basically as a peace offering and in order to get a one up on all the other nations Konoha agrees to send a medic over. The Akatsuki of course, want Sakura, but Tsunade’s probably like hell naw but here take this one. And it’s my OC and it works because she’s got a lot of potential, but in different ways then Sakura. This one has lowered combat levels, which is a plus when put in perspective for the Akatsuki as a group because the deal is that while technically still a Konoha ninja, this girl has a strict confidentiality seal on her and if she can’t fight back it’s better for them. She still, however, has a high intelligence level and specializes in experimental techniques, which is another plus considering the Akatsuki’s unique physical makeups.
Personally, OC is one from a set of triplets born to a merchant family, and while a native of Konoha, her father is from a different merchant family in the land of snow. Because of that, her chakra affinity is ice based and she uses that in particular ways. Mostly to help with her medicine.
Again, this one needs a lot of work. But there ya go.
So there. Are more I guess and maybe I’ll post an ongoing list of ideas and put a tab on my page for people to check out but for now I hope this okay?
