Happy 17th Anniversary to ATLA! 🎉
It's been 17 years since the show first aired and I'm happy that the show is still being watched and loved today. 🤗
Celebrating it by resharing the major arcana of my ATLA Tarot deck. 💛
I started creating this deck in 2020 and have finally finished the drawing portion of it 2 years later (2022).
There's still a couple more things to do before getting the deck out to you all, like design updates, prepping the files for printing, designing the deck's box and creating the production schedule. But I'm happy to say that things are moving along and the deck is closer to production than ever. 🙌

Ok, now this was a reeeeeally tricky card to do and I needed to choose Yue cuz she fits The High Priestess more than any other character and more than she fits The Moon (sad, sad) so yeah, live with it ;p
2. The High Priestess
The High Priestess evokes the mysteries of the feminine and the moon. She is patient, wise and a good listener, mainly of her inside, she knew that the key to save everyone was within herself.
The Hight Priestess has deep connection with the "other realms". Yue became one with the spiritual world and tells us that we can reach the wisdom kept beyond by using our intuition and introspection. The answer that you need are within yourself, listen to your intuition and you'll find what you need.

The eight of wands, or gliders as seen is this card, is about speed, progress and quick decisions.
Here, The gaang is quick on their feet to take the Western Air Temple from fire nation grasps.
【ATLA Tarot - Five of Wands】
Like other fives in a tarot deck, the five of wands is also about some kind of conflict or disagreement.
Here we see a conflict that has happened in the past, but carries on hundreds of years later, even manifesting itself into a holiday called "Avatar Day."
The gaang works to ease tensions, as well as explore the differences in beliefs relating to the concept of the "Avatar."

The queen of wands is confident, self assured, and passionate. As stated by Kyoshi, she was truly a model avatar. Loved by many, but knew when to put her foot down.
【ATLA Tarot - Ten of Wands】
The ten of wands symbolizes burdens and extra responsibilities. 😥
Aang carried the burden of "being the avatar" and the expectations that came with it. His obligation to the world (defeating the firelord) clashed with his some of his core beliefs as he struggled and stressed to find other solutions up until the very day.
He eventually found one that could satisfy both sides, symbolizing that all the stress and hard work had paid off, and that one of his first duties he had taken on as the avatar was complete. 😌
