Tagged By: lusus-naturae-per-se 1. What about your OTP drew you in and why do you ship them as hard as you do? I have too many OTPs, but all of them tend to lean toward the "opposite yet complementary" personalities aspect. Zuko and Katara (ATLA), for example, are both very strong and independent characters from different ends of any spectrum, whether it be fire versus water or good versus evil. My current ship obsession is Eponine and Enjolras (Les Misérables), both of which are also passionate and independent characters from different social rankings. Similarities bring people together, and differences can change people for the better. Perhaps that is why I ship pairings with this element. As for book OTPs? So long as the couple is fluffy without being annoying, I can hardcore ship whatever pairing the author makes canon. 2. What are you most passionate about? (hobbies, interests, subjects, etc.) Science, art, music, and writing. More specifically, I love biological sciences and DNA engineering. In my future, I hope to pursue a career in the neurosciences and psychology. Aside from educational passions, art and music make up most of my life. Any kind of art -- visual, theatrical, literary. Painting and photography are my best fields in visual art; singing, acting, and playing guitar are my top performing art fortes; and fiction writing and songwriting are my literary strengths. 3. Do you prefer coffee or tea? I've tried getting into tea because it's healthy, but I just can't do it. I prefer coffee, but I drink both rather sparingly. 4. What makes you the happiest out of anything in the whole entire world? Being home. As vague and nebulous as that response seems, it sums up my answer without missing out any important details. 5. Who is/are your favorite fictional character(s) and/or actor(s) and actress(es) and why are they your favorite? Fictional characters: Augustus Waters (The Fault in Our Stars), Katara (ATLA), Eponine (Les Miserables), Enjolras (Les Miserables), Sydney Carton (A Tale of Two Cities), Rachel Berry (Glee) ... I have so many more, but I can't think of them all at the moment! All very passionate characters, and I love that about 'em. Actors/actresses: Anne Hathaway, Lyndsy Fonseca, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Dylan O'Brien, Lea Salonga, Aaron Tveit. Don't even get me started on why these people are my favorite. 6. What is your favorite quote? "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill Life is a game that you can't just quit when you're on the losing side. I have so many suicidal friends, and I have gone through a similar phase myself. But the lesson is to stay strong because there has to be something better in the end. There's no lower place than the bottom, right? The only way to get out of metaphorical hell is to, well, walk out of there. The quote speaks for itself. 7. What are your biggest pet peeves? People taking advantage of other people. That is the one and only pet peeve I have. 8. What is your all-time favorite movie and/or book? Les Misérables! Definitely! I swear, once you get me started, I will legitimately fangirl over everything related to this Victor Hugo masterpiece; from the novel, to the opera, to the newly released movie. Seriously, message me about it if you dare. I won't stop. Or maybe I will. Eventually. 9. What is something about you that not many people know? I can say the alphabet backwards in less than three seconds! It's such a useless talent though. OH. I'm trilingual. That counts for something, at least. WAIT I CAME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER. What is the best fanfiction (if you read it) that you have ever read? (I’m really curious) Hmm, I've read so many! That's difficult to say. Two that stand out are both Zutara fics: Stormbenders by Fandomme and Rhythm of the Rain by DamageCtrl. 11. What do you value most in other people? Their hearts and souls. Cheesy, huh? I just love people in general. (Hello, biogeek here?) From their strengths to their idiosyncrasies, I admire what makes a person an individual and different from the rest. Those who are innocent and overall good-natured as especially amazing, though everyone's pretty amazing too.
