speaking of that Tarzan AU ok just think of a nicely built, early 20s Aang with adorably wild, shoulder length hair
playin with his little “brothers and sisters” aka baby lemurs
Katara asking if he’ll teach her to speak Lemur tho and trying to do it but the chirps are ridiculous and make her laugh and Aang squeezes her cheeks together and they keep playing around until they’re accidentally close af
and Aang’s just holding her mouth in place because he has no clue what that “kiss the girl” instinct is because he’s never felt it before
and then Katara pulling away embarrassed that she was waiting for him to do something and going to twirl her loopy all nervous and ends up doing the chirps right making the baby lemurs all happy and she’s like, “Woah what’d I say?”
