HAPPY TUMBLR ANNIVERSARY TO ME

I'm still in tumblr jail.

Here's the letter I just sent to staff on their page where you can report that you've been incorrectly identified as an explicit blog:

My blog was marked explicit on October 10, 2021. I've sent requests for appeals and no one has contacted me.

INFO: On Oct. 10 I received a note I had a flagged post. It was for a post nearly 2 years before, promoting a book under my pen name. There was nothing in that post that went against tumblr guidelines. YES I used the hashtag "fluffysmut" to indicate the type of romance- two fools awkwardly fall in love and do have adult, consensual sexual relationships. But nothing about the post was inappropriate.

I click for it to be reviewed and less than 2 minutes later I get a response saying it was rejected and then my blog was marked explicit. I sent the repeal around 11:30 pm on a Sunday night, so I find it hard to believe it was viewed by a person- as your policy states.

Since then I've sent many requests to review the appeal. PLEASE LOOK AT MY BLOG. I post encouraging quotes, writing advice, and appreciation for all things Marvel. I promote other authors and creators of tumblr. The only thing I can think of since December 2018 that I have that could cause a "flag" from your algorithm are my tags such as "suit p0rn" and "plaid p0rn" which isn't even sexual in nature other than I think suits and plaid are sexy.

As a published author, I use tumblr to connect with my readers. I started sharing my writing here years ago and gained a following of readers who buy my books.

I'm requesting TODAY on the 6th anniversary of when I started my tumblr blog that a LIVE PERSON look at my blog. I was so excited that day to get started, and chose my icon. It's a cropped image of my favorite actor- the reason I came to tumblr. In 6 years, I never changed my photo or username. I'm proud to be avenger-nerd-mom. I follow the rules, and miss seeing my icon and header. Tumblr has been my safe haven as I worked through trouble spots in my marriage, the pandemic, and losing my mom. It's where I became creative again and shared my writing. It's where I've met my best friends- first on tumblr, then meeting in real life.

Tumblr is my happy place. Help me make it happy again.

TELL ME why I was "put in jail" and I'll delete any questionable materials, but putting me in a freeze mode when I see more questionable, pornographic posts every day is ridiculous.

Help me really celebrate my tumblr anniversary, staff. Review my appeal.

@staff how you gonna put @avenger-nerd-mom in tumblr jail for posting about a book when p0rn bots were all over the place? Sometimes the things that get flagged or taken down and the things that don't just make no sense to me. This and people stealing content is why I no longer post any of my work on here.
