Getting into the tower had been far easier than he expected. He had only toyed with the idea briefly, but the opportunity had been opened to him far sooner than he had expected. It would be foolish to let it slip by. He'd need a better disguise, though. Something with a bit of clearance and a history already built up. That was what lead him to following a new intern on his way out one late night. He cornered the young man in an alley and dispatched him, sending what remained through a hastily summoned portal so that there would be no risk of the real intern being discovered.
He assumed the young man's appearance and used his ID badge to get back into the tower the next day. And as hardly a glance has been spared to the young man before, hardly a glance was spared for him. Until he ran into - and nearly bowled over - a young woman as he exited a break room.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! Are you alright?" he asked, reaching out to steady her.
