Tricksterâs New Face || Loki & Wanda
Wanda didnât usually venture down into the more corporate sections of the tower, but she was looking for her twin and sheâd already determined he wasnât anywhere up above. Heâd slipped out of the infirmary earlier and she was pretty much the only one who had any hope of coaxing him back.Â
She wasât looking where she was going, which is why she didnât notice the young man who stepped out of a room to her right. Not until they ran into her and he nearly knocked her over.Â
She gasped, grabbing onto his arm when he reached out to steady her. Green eyes flicked up to look at the man who had run into her. It wasnât surprising that she didnât recognize him. After all, there were a lot of workers and she didnât leave the living areas often.
âIâm fine, sorry. I should have been watching where I was going,â she answered, taking a step back and righting her sweater. After a moments pause, she looked up at the young man, expression curious. âYou havenât seen a young man with white hair, have you?â
He released the girl and let her step back, but his eyes remained fixed on her, a worried expression on his face. It wouldnât do if he ended up getting a reputation as someone to watch out for. Rude and uncaring. He needed to remain unnoticed.
âNo, I havenât seen anyone like that,â he answered truthfully. Heâd paid minimal attention to the other people in the tower so far. Most of them were just inconsequential workers and at this point he was more concerned with learning where this face and the corresponding ID badge could get him. Still, he hadnât noticed anyone with white hair.
âDid you lose someone?â
