“Where the Sky Begins” (2018), Kambui Olujimi’s newly installed laminated glass panels at the Avenue I station (F), is a series of lyrical compositions created from views of the sky from around the world - from Beijing to Brooklyn, Johannesburg to Jerusalem, or Rio to Rome. The universal imagery provides a vast space for reflection and connection on the train platform.
