Avenue’s first stint in Full Figured Fashion Week was a huge success. Our PR team hosted an ever-so-fabulous blogger brunch for some of our favorite ladies as well as a ton of amazing new-to-Avenue plus size bloggers that we are so excited to start working with! The event was titled “Feel the Love” to encompass Avenue’s body-positivity statements. It was held in Studio Arte, an amazing loft in the middle of NYC that provided the perfect backdrop for the event. This brunch was all about mingling and chatting with bloggers to tell them all about our newest, hottest merchandise coming in for fall. Plus, we got some amazing feedback about the brand as far as what they love and what they want to see going forward. Seeing the product in person is also really helpful because it gave them the chance to feel the quality and understand the sizing. Girls had a blast trying things on, snapping photos of their top picks, and taking selfies.
Our PR Team gave a short presentation about some of our top trends that will continue through the upcoming seasons. The bloggers had plenty of time to browse the racks and were quick to point out some of their favorites.
One of the highlights was our career collection. Fall is a great time to revamp your work look and the bloggers loved our selection for the upcoming season.

Another trend for fall is a nod to the 70s. One key item that had everyone’s jaws dropping was our gorgeous Crochet Bell Sleeve Trapeze Dress. This one was so popular for the summer, it’s coming back in rich colors for the fall!
Ruanas have become super popular as a layering piece as the weather gets cooler. NEC Style blogger Nanthale fell for this nautical-inspired piece.
And what is better than the perfect accessory to top off any look? These fashionistas couldn’t stop talking about our accessories tables.

And who doesn’t love a shoe that can tie it all together? Everyone was in love with our always-fabulous shoes and boots for the fall season.
