Movie review??????👀
The Lion King 1 1/2 is the best movie of all time. It is absolutely iconic and unapologetically so. Timon and Pumba are in a movie theatre and we never find out why. How did they get there??? It doesn't matter. In my heart of hearts, I believe they installed a movie theatre in their extravagant, elaborate mansion.
I do have some qualms with how the movie basically starts off with the premise of "Timon sucks ass at everything, he sucks so bad. He's a failure. L Timon." It hurts my heart to watch all of these meerkats dunking on Timon but he also genuinely destroyed their tunneling system. HOWEVER, he is so me. Impromptu dance break on watch duty??? Hell yeah. Slay Timon.
I also love how 1/3 of the movie is just Pumba and Timon going house shopping. I never realized how insanely queer coded they were as a duo until watching this movie. Holy shit. They adopt Simba and basically become his dads??? Literally the best. This truly is a pride month movie.
All in all, this movie is so much fun. 100000/10. I will think about it all the time now.
