'  what  the  fuck  ?  ‘  avery  breathed  out  as  he  came  around  the  corner .  ‘  no  shortage  of  gentrification  around  here ,  huh ?  ‘  there  wasn’t  much  avery  could  do  about  it  other  than  complain .  granted ,  maybe there  was  a  lot  he  could  do  but  that  would  be  a  sure  way  to  spend  a  few  nights  behind  bar  and  avery  wasn’t  looking  forward  to  that  right  now .

   it definitely wasn’t every day that avery found himself in the midst of the fight that didn’t leave him handcuffed and getting taken down town somewhere in the back of a police car . ‘  must  be  my  lucky  fucking  day , ‘ avery murmured to himself , wiping some of the blood off his face before lifting his eyes , ‘  what  the  fuck  you  looking  at ? ‘

  it hadn’t been long since avery had been out . he went in on some bogus drug charge , or well , what he would consider a bogus drug charge . spent a few months behind bars before they let him out and he wasn’t sure if it was on good behavior like they said or if they needed to make room for some other sorry sucker to take his place . maybe it wasn’t a surprise to see him in the rabbit household . it didn’t seem to matter if him and aspen were good or if they were on the rocks . where else was he going to go ? he lifted up a middle finger to the first rabbit to make a comment that morning before moving away from the fridge . ‘  eat  your  poptarts  and  shut  the  fuck  up , ‘ avery breathed before moving to take his own seat at the table .

   ‘  yeah ,  well ,  there’s  two  type  of  adlers  , ‘  avery  spoke ,  attempting  to  wipe  some  blood  off . ‘  you  got  the  one  with  the  nice  hair  and  the  one  with  blood  on  his  face . ‘  he  seemed  to  pause , ‘  also  one’s  taller . ‘ avery  had  always  been  a  bit  explosive  although  he  could  say  at  least  this  time  wasn’t  exactly  his  fault .

    ‘  can  be  our  little  secret  ,  yeah ? ‘ sure , there were rules . avery knew those rules . that , however , didn’t mean that avery ever followed them . at least she didn’t get caught . she blew the smoke out of the open window , fanning around with her hand as if that was going to help with getting the smell of cigarette smoke out of the room .

   ‘  look ,  all  i’m  saying  is  ,   what  town  doesn’t  have  a  place  where  you  can  buy  a  tux  ? ‘  avery  questioned , ‘  i’m  not  gonna  amazon  this  shit .  who  amazons  a  tux  ?  ‘  maybe  a  lot  of  people .  hell ,  avery  didn’t   know  and  he  wasn’t  even  so  sure  why  he  was  stressed  about  this .  it  wasn’t  his  wedding .

     '  i  don’t  know  how  many  times  i  can  say  i  don’t  understand  what  the  fuck  you’re  saying  .  ‘  avery could be as dramatic as the next person although that usually ended up with someone getting a broken nose and avery ending up in the back of a police car but after his last stint , he wasn’t looking forward to going right back in . ‘  i’m  going  to  get  arrested  again , ‘ avery murmured under his breath .

     '  does  anyone  else  think  this  is  a  dumb  ass  idea ? ‘ avery paused , ‘  just  me ? ‘ he usually didn’t have too much to say when it came to the plan . as far as avery was concerned , he got to sit pretty in the car and make sure they got from point a to point b bu sometimes , he just couldn’t keep his thoughts to himself . ‘  i  mean  ,  it’s  whatever .  haven’t  left  you  all  high  and  dry  before .  probably  won’t  do  it  now . ‘
