eli had opted to stay within the community walls despite the fact that this wasn’t the norm for him . he had chosen to stay outside the home that eric had chosen for the night just for extra measure but he didn’t feel any more comfortable being there when the next day rolled around . he looked up when someone spoke to him , offering nothing more than a grunt in return .

it didn’t really matter what day of the week it was , there was always a party whether it was lowkey or something bigger . isaac knocked back at shot before tossing the cup on the table . it wasn’t like this was his party or house for that matter and it was clear someone already designated the table for trash .
dakota had certain obligations . it was apart of the deal . dakota kept his end of the bargain and that meant his family stayed out of his business . he did what he was supposed to do . he showed up , said a few hallelujahs and left . “ staring is a little rude , “ dakota hummed as he pulled his tie off and threw it into his car . it was a little ironic considering dakota was always rude .

kieran’s mind was more or less on the banquet . more or less on being able to finally see her sister . she moved down a hallway , barely paying any mind to anything else as she passed a room with the door ajar . she wasn’t sure what made her stop and backtrack but she did without truly thinking about it . kieran’s eyes landed on joshua , unaware of her own presence . there was no denying that he was an attractive man . kieran may have been tense and wary but she certainly wasn’t blind . but there was something about him that kieran couldn’t quite put her finger on -- like she had seen him before but couldn’t exactly place it .
she wasn’t thinking . like a magnet , her feet carried her inside the room , plucking the coat that was left out for joshua from it’s spot as she approached him . “ may i ? “ she questioned , holding the coat out for him to slip on . “ black seems to be your color . “ @saintivcry
" what a lovely bunch we have here . “ alistair had heard what had happened , of course , and maybe he should have felt somewhat bad for the lives lost but he didn’t . in fact , it was almost a little amusing to him but then again , that was easy to be when he wasn’t exactly going out there and risking anything .
