Playero Patas Amarillas Ave playera de tamaño mediano con patas largas y amarillo-brillantes. El plumaje tiene la parte dorsal gris con manchas blancas y vientre blanco. Las proporciones son más útiles para separar ambas especies: el pico es más largo que la cabeza y ligeramente recurvado, con cuello más largo, cabeza cuadrada y pecho más grande.
