I tried doing some doodling to experiment a bit drawing Scarlet in both the "Avibus" approach to sketches and the Saints'Quarter approach. Turns out that doing it all by hand kind of removes an extra layer of the difference between them, since the majority of "Avibus" is drawn exclusively on the computer these days...
The basic idea, though, is that I'm trying to make "Avibus" rooted more in the simplified shapes of everything (example, Scarlet’s basically made of diamonds), while Saints'Quarter has more of a... I dunno, fluff and flow to it? It's hard to put it into words. Because I'm tired.
Simplified vs. Sketchy Detail.
