The young man swallowed, trying to hold back his tears and he hugged the pokemon to his chest. He couldn't help but blame himself for this...It was his job to take care of the pokemon and he couldn't even do that, "I--..."

He couldn't do it, as much as he hated to cry in front of others, he couldn't help but burst into tears, slouching his shoulders. Maybe if he had been more observant and careful, the small pokemon would still be okay.
