A portrait of Sam, a character I like very much, who belongs to this talented comics creator: http://jpjcomicsandstories.tumblr.com/ (Check him out!)
Sam is an uncomplicated, interesting man from the comic ‘A Visit.’ I drew this from my favorite scene in which he puts on his favorite jacket, saying it’s like a second skin. Really resonated with me as I have a very similar jacket that I always wear when it gets cold and feel the same way about. :)

In the original page, I had drawn the jacket on the clothes rack and then, when doing the colouring, I realised - it’s a leather jacket, you don’t wash it and hang out to dry.

A Visit - Chapter 1 - Part 2
Sorry it took so long to put this on line. I went to the Angoulême International Comics Festival with the magazine I publish, La Revue LGBT BD, so that took some time. Then last weekend was a comics reading as part of the Festival des Cultures LGBT organized by the Centre LGBT Paris-Ile de France.
The next chapter of A Visit is very short, only four pages, more like a coda to chapter 1. I’ll be getting to it soon... hopefully!

This is also the end of the first “chapter”, so I think I’ll re-post the whole of chapter 1 in a couple of posts later this week before going on to the - very short - chapter 2.
