"Ah. . .mister Jack?
Are you perhaps flirting with me?"
`tis the season { closed
What a lovely time to return to Tancho Academy. Right as the campus had become ensconced in sweet fall colours, wrapped in the slightly blustering cold amidst luridly coloured fall leaves. He especially loved how they crunched under his heels, to be honest. The royal blood especially looked forward to seeing his friends from before - if they still attended, and hopefully they did! Tettere imagined several familiar faces he hoped to see. Among them was the librarian he had gotten to be so familiar with, as he was the staff leader of the club. He hoped that this year they could plan even more books to read. Yes. . .to just discuss books would be fine enough, even. He didn`t want to pry but-- oh, it would be so fun to spend more time with him as well. The blue prince had unpacked his things the night before, awakening to the sound of rather cheerful hubbub outside.
Poking his head out the window, Tettere found the most welcome surprise since arriving. He happened to come right before the day of an autumn festival! Tettere wasted no time lacing up his thigh high boots, buttoning up his blazer (as well as securing his cravat and ruby jewel) before practically skipping outside his door and towards the noisy, festive stalls. Naturally he visited the candied apple stand first (naturally, it wasn`t poisoned. Where on earth would you get a far fetched idea like that?) before wandering over to a stall selling quaint little fuzzy sweaters. Admittedly, they were horribly tacky. But something about that was appealing. Perhaps this was their hidden charm point! Gloved fingers skimmed over the soft and fuzzy (if not a bit itchy) fabric, noting the little bunny that was knitted into it`s white fabric, adorned by a little carrot and bunches of grass. It was the perfect little picture. In fact, it quite reminded him of someone. Ah, alas! If only they were here. Tettere hurriedly turned around to see if there were any old books to be found, only to unceremoniously bump into a tall figure and land right on his nicely rounded buttocks. "Hey! Pardon you--!" The prince rubbed his temples, glaring daggers up at the perpetrator before noticing who it was. "W-wait. Jack. . .?"
an orange for your thoughts?
The sun had began the slow descend from the zenith of the sky, marking the end of the school day in which the prince was released from his classes. Home economics had been especially messy that day, leaving him with flour dusting the cuffs of his uniform. Nonetheless, he was left with an insatiable craving for cake. But that would have to wait! He had to go to the library today to speak with the book club adviser. The prince hadn`t seen the librarian since the sleep over - my, that was an interesting thing to wake up to! He laughed a bit at the thought; ah yes, what an entertaining and surprising evening. Nonetheless, that was play, and this was work! He had set up a list of books that Tettere thought they could discuss and potentially agree on one at the next meeting. Of course, he needed approval from the supervisor, of course. "Mister Vessalius?" Tettere`s voice echoed through the empty corners of the library, his footsteps doing much the same as he quietly walked through the entryway over to the main desk. "I came with that list I was talking about." Setting a few of the novels bundled up in his hands onto the desk, he brushed golden bangs out of his eyes. "How was your week?" And he smiled that brilliant, princely smile of cordiality that often wooed over even the eldest of sour nobles. Prince charming indeed.

Sleep overs usually culminated in one thing - sleep. The evening was waning on, and yet so many people still tittered about with excitement. Some were even having pillows fights in the other room, and who knows what happened to the folks who had gone on the panty raid of all things. Tettere had watched as Jack was forced into the closet with that oddly dressed man named Miran - he came out unscathed however, so he was not too worried about what may have happened. He barely knew about the premise of the game itself. They sat side by side among the pillows from earlier, talking about this and that, various teachers and students as their eyelids began to grow more and more heavy with the time of night waning on and on. "Mister Vessalius?" The prince rubbed his eyes and tugged on the nobleman`s sleeve. He pressed an inquisitive palm to his lips. "I was told by another member of the sleep over that it is customary to. . .what was the term? 'Do each other`s hair.' I think that means that I`m to comb your hair. . .ah, can I? Perhaps re-braid it for you?" The prince had to be honest with himself - his long hair looked very tempting to touch. Did it feel as silky as it looked?
Ah, how was he to do this? Jack didn't want to think much too much about how to go about it, rather, wasn't it easier to go all in at once? So without further ado, he patted the prince's shoulders, a bit of a habit he had become accustomed to before he leaned down to his eye level. Then he gave a bright smile and leaned in without warning, oh but he gave a sweet kiss to the prince's forehead first, then tip of his nose, cheeks, chin, all around his features. Fleeting, little passionate kisses.
A sudden pat to his shoulders brought the prince to attention."Mister Vessalius?" Tettere glanced up at the nobleman before noticing how close he had gotten, instinctively backing up just a little. This did nothing to aid the matter, however, seeing as Jack only seemed to come closer and closer. When he felt the first kiss on his forehead, Tettere flinched."M-Mister Vessalius?!" His voice reached an octave he didn`t feel possible, paralyzed from the sudden onset of kissing all about his visage, touching everywhere and failing to reach his lips. And a good thing too, or else he may have fainted."I-I don`t think that`s allowed. . ." Was all he had to say, sapphire eyes wide open in a state of perpetual surprise.
Oh dear, he might as well. Initially he didn't think to say this to anyone he's already met but, he wasn't exactly sure who else to speak to! That and the prince was easy to spot out, so Jack naturally approached him and waved, greeting him as usual before he gave a gentle pat pat pat to his shoulder and stating, "Welcome to Nacho Academy, let's cut their lives into pizza, this is my subplot fork. Enjoy your stay!"
"Um. . ."The prince glanced up at the librarian he had met merely days ago and found himself pondering the bespectacled man`s mental health. He awkwardly returned the pat by nodding once and gently touching Jack`s shoulder. "You enjoy your stay too, mister Vessalius.Try not to hit your head. . .again."
