âAre you certain? Youâre being quite adorable right now! And seeming to lean right into me, even.âIf that wasnât cute, then Jack didnât know what was. He wiggled closer and practically lifted the prince right up into the air, or at least putting the otherâs feet atop of his own, something one would do when teaching another to dance. Though dancing was the furthest thing from his mind.Â
âI think..Iâll get you used to embraces like these, then.â
Jack made a pleasantly content noise, eventually pulling back to an armâs length and leaning down to an eye level with his student. He ever so lightly patted his shoulders with an amused smile and tone, âWould you like it if I did, Tettere?â With a tilt of his head does he ask this, leaning in closer and fleetingly bumping their foreheads together.
"I`m leaning lest I would trip, but--" He squeaked almost indignantly as he felt himself being lifted, resting on Jack`s feet so that they may step in tandem. His emerald gaze was soft and earnest. It was exactly like Tettere`s daydreams in their previous semester, before the sudden break and arriving back at Tancho just recently. Tettere wished to refuse, but deep within his heart of hearts, he wanted exactly that. "N-no, I wouldn`t mind, actually. . .Jack, though I`m certain that this isn`t appropriate. . .!" But the words were caught in his throat. He was nervous, wanted to insist that these sort of things were improper! After all, he was a prince with decorum, the most regal of all royals. Although he had accepted the offer despite all of these verbal attempts to fight it, he ended up leaning over a bit too much -- especially since his feet were resting on the Vessalius` boots he found himself pushing over the noble by accident, toppling the two onto the cold and unforgiving floor. How romantic indeed. "Ah! Forgive me. . ."
