Quite frankly, there are not (never) enough deleted scenes of Avner being sassy, so here’s one.

“Why don’t you just...” I make a sword-swooping motion.

“She’s too good, for one,” Avner says. “She has a veritable army of fans, for another. And she’s a child. Not everything is solved by killing, Eliza; I’m working on it. And your stance is off,” he adds quietly.

ice cream: what ice cream flavor tastes weird for you? I don’t think I’ve tried all of them... but I don’t like the ones with sliced nuts in them. Or candy that gets hard when it’s cold. I think fruit might be the limit for me with inserting things into ice cream. Oh, no, the bubblegum flavor--!

chocolate: do you prefer dark, milk, hazelnut, or chocolate? Too... many choices... Hazelnut chocolate? Is that real? Milk chocolate, I suppose. Dark chocolate is very bitter.

cookies: if you know how to bake and you had to introduce a new type of cookie to the world, what would it look like and what would you call it? If I knew how to bake? Well, I don’t know how to bake, I suppose... but still. Um, more of those cookies with the white chocolate chips in them. (considering) I think the world of cookies is very well-rounded as it is.

smoothies: which of your friends will help you with your fruit stand / bar / cafe? Well, Red would want to, but, you know, Eliza should also be there. I like this idea-- does Ahava have a rival fruit stand or whatnot? I think that would be nice. And, you know, we could divide fruits-- one of us could take berries and the other everything else, you know. Or maybe one of us has fruits and the other has a smoothie stand that utilizes the other’s fruits--

cake: when’s your birthday? what’s the last birthday gift you received? December 30th; I’ve been told I’m the one with the horns. Um, if that’s still something people are interested in. The last gift... mm. I don’t know. It’s been a long time. Maybe-- well. The White Queen gave me... a book? I don’t have it anymore... I’d rather move on, if we can.

pies: have you ever met your grandparents? if you did, what’s the sweetest thing they have given you that you still keep as a memento? (if not, would you like to meet them? what item would you give for them to treasure?) I love my grandparents! On my mother’s side. My grandmother gave me a necklace once; she had no reason to at all. It was very pretty... I didn’t take it with me, of course. I’d never remake it here.

cinnamon roll: list / name the people / person you would treasure for the rest of your life? (platonic and romantic, doesn’t matter) I--I treasure Red? And, um, Eliza? I-- I suppose I treasure my, um, subjects; I wouldn’t want to be... unfair... this is very strange... (fidgets) Is that all? Oh, no, and my family! Also my family!

Can I just say how amazingly talented you are? Being a good artist and a great writer is hard to do but you make it look easy! I was super excited when I saw your post about taking requests for Revan artwork. I am obsessed with your iteration with your KOTOR fic. Avner is definitely my favorite version of Revan in fanfiction.

Now on to the actual request. I know you’ve kinda hinted through BWNN that Avner and Bastila would have kids (Vaner and Vima(?)) But I would like to see what you imagine them looking like. Could you draw a family portrait? Or just a shot of Avner holding his kids when they’re babies?

Oooooh, now that request sounds interesting, and it's something I'll have to chew on for a second :)

Thank you for the kind words, friend, and for sticking with my story. I'm really glad you enjoy my Revan/Avner! I can assure you, it's definitely difficult for me to draw, and writing can be even harder, so I'm glad when people enjoy my work and it can bring a smile to their face :D
