The horror: My muse is tortured in front of yours as punishment

Fear was a visible ripple. Exposed flesh -- bloodied and bruised -- pulled in a natural yet grotesquely fascinating at how the human bodied could  cope with pain that had seemed unending. Blood dripped down from bound wrists to stain lengthy trails upon her numbed arms, the sight of muscle tissue just making its appearance after hours of fighting the chains that remained the only thing supporting her whole weight.
