I knew that I was stupidly attracted to this boy who managed to keep a carefree, badass, mysterious aura about him at all times, and I also knew that dating a subordinate hadn’t worked out for me in the past (the psycho ex). it was just a cherry on the top that I knew this boy was semi good friends with my ex, so I came to the conclusion that I needed to just avoid him, and that’s exactly what I did... for a month.
