“Gaster, I’m not here to harm you or cause you any misdeeds. I’ve seen how you’ve done lately and I would much rather bury the hatchet. Would you be so kind as to open your lab?”
Being calm as ever, he waits with his cane in hand, sporting the old look the other knew him by.

A fairy? As in, a mythical creature from fairy tales? Oddly enough, Gaster didn’t think it was that strange. After all, humans thought monsters were nothing more than a myth for the longest time- why should other supposed ‘myths’ be discarded in light of that?
“I am Doctor Gaster. I must say, I’ve never met a fairy before. Mind telling me a bit about yourself?”
“Doctor, huh? No wonder you’re so curious.” Navi frowned slightly. “I don’t know what exactly you want to know. We’re just...fairies. Most of them are much smaller than me--I’m a bit of an anomaly that way.”
Voidster stared at the small, glowing shard in his hand. It was so...unusual. Such a rarity, to find a soul fragment unattached to its owner. A soul fragment floating unattended in the void, no less. It had distracted him during his travels to another timeline, and indeed, he had nearly become lost in the void himself.
Distractions were a dangerous thing in the endless darkness. Few dared try to navigate that cold expanse; darker than dark, terrible and vast. He doubted the owner of this particular soul fragment had expected anyone to find it. He wondered if they had tried to find it themselves, or if they had been relieved at the loss. He could sense the pain locked in this sliver of self. And of course, he had never been able to resist the call of suffering.
He was careful to orient himself. The soul fragment would guide him to the timeline of the being who owned it, and then the real fun would begin. For he had sensed one other thing while handling the delicate piece of magic in his hands. The owner of this soul was one of his counterparts.

It had been a while since Gaster had checked up on this particular test subject. The last time he'd seen her, he'd been slamming her into walls in order to hurt someone close to her. But she wasn't a ragdoll to toss around. She was a test subject. Though she may walk free, she still wore his mark. And so, the monster appears before Ota, the lights in his eyesockets flickering as he stands before her. "I do believe it's about time I checked on that soul of yours." -avoiided
Ah, what a moment to be interrupted. Doing nothing in particular, eating a bag of chips. She gave the doctor a very bored expression as she chewed an swallowed the chip she had between her lips. She set the bag aside and crossed her legs on her seat.
“Y’know, last time you asserted your “ownership” over my soul, you threw me around into stuff. So naaaah.” she answered dryly.

He certainly didn’t trust the monster who’d tried to kill him months ago-- but he wasn’t going to be outright rude. It appeared-- at least from his perspective-- that Gaster was attempting to make amends. If Ford could forgive the Gaster who destroyed his partner-- he owed it to this one to try and listen to his reasoning.
“A peace offering?” Quirking a brow, he relaxed slightly, accepting the bottle in hand. He tilted his head, turning it over as he examined it-- he even went so far as to scan it for nefarious substances-- it was simply liquor.
“Ah-- Thank you. Would you-- like a drink?” He was behaving cautiously still, but was more than willing to open the floor to discussion. They were both men of science-- surely they could find some common ground.
“I’m glad to see you’ve recovered-- I’m sorry Gaster was so violent. He went too far. Are you alright?” His concern was genuine-- after all, he’d been the one to calm Gaster down in the first place.

The magic spun and spread like a spider's webbing across the winding path, pausing as he decides to look around. The halls seem to twist and turn oddly. This structure was not normal, the magic influencing its directions could be felt. Black begins to bubble behind his darkened teeth, dripping past his ivory jaw...
This was infuriating!
The low grumble that echoes from his form is more of a static-laced hiss. He was not going to continue walking, focusing rather on the source of the magic attached to this oddity of a building within the void. Despite the broken grin cracked against his broken face, he sounded very irritated.
"How....annoying."
