Plate 7: Entourage and Glass Architecture
My plate title: Peaceful Gherkin
On this plate, this is a monochromatic drawing. I used pen, ink and markers. For market I only used cool grays. I learned so much stuff about this plate and enjoyed. I learned how to blend the marker even it is hard for me but I'm always give my best every plates and that's the reason why I'm always learning. I also applied my learnings on the past plates and lessons.
For the structure or building. I choose the building 30 st Mary Axe (The Gherkin). This is one of the famous building in london. This is designed by famed architect Norman Foster. I'm so inlove with this building, it's so beautiful and peaceful for me. And of course it is at least approximately 70% glass facade. 7,429 panes of glass were used – the equivalent to three football pitches. There are 792 mechanised windows that can open in the lightwells. Each floor rotates 5 degrees from the one below. It was constructed in year 2001 and completed on 2003. It's 591 feet tall.
The Peaceful Gherkin.
This a so beautiful, peaceful building for me and full of emotions.
My procedure when I drawing this, I what perspective I shoud pick, I sketch 2 times. I tried portrait and I tried landscape and liked much the landscape and my landscape is my final chose.
And this my sketch in portrait. I didn't finish because I liked so much my landscape sketch of gherkin.
Some photos of The Gherkin.

Plate 6: Architectural Interiors
My Plate Title: GOOD AS NEW.
This is my chosen interior space on my house. Our kitchen. I choose this space because I really like cooking and helping my grandmother in kitchen. I really want to change our kitchen and to be more comfortable and more functional and not to be hard for me when I'm cooking and specially to my grandmother. For me this kitchen space is a heart of home.
This is my redesigned and more functional kitchen. There's so many things that I add and changed.
First I sketch and then I put an ink and pen. I also apply the past discussions which I learned. I learned a lot on AVSTEN. All the plates. And I'll always doing my best.
Pen and Ink Techniques on Stills
On this plate no. 5, I actually learned a lot of techniques. hatching (or cross hatching), stippling and scribbling. This is my first time trying this different techniques. Habang nag nag uumpisa ako even it's difficult for me because this is my first time, of course I gave all of my BEST. I choose this object because I am a drummer and my coffee is always giving me a energy.

Value Scale and Drawing by Close Observation. My Rock N' Roll post hand 🤘. This activity I applied all I learned on the past discussions and activities on AVSTEN1 Course. And also the mechanics of this activity. I also saw my improvement on shadings.
"Longing"
This is the first time i drew without looking at a picture reference, but i enjoy doing it although im struggling in shading part I enjoy it, because it is part of my journey everybody starts at the bottom and nobody starts form the top.
Lets practice more ❤️🍀
