Awake News

So many of you are going to see that I posted an author’s note on Awake today, and I figured I’d post on here too.  I’m currently in the process of revising the HELL out of this fic, for multiple reasons. First, in the time that I started writing this up until the week before season 5 premiered, I finished reading ASoIaF. I had only read AGoT at the time I started working on this fic, and while I had read my fair share of Sansan, reading the books gave me a much better understanding of the characters. Secondly, I just want to give you ladies the best story possible, and in order for me to do that, I feel like I need to revise the whole thing. I’m quite looking forward to this rewrite and I hope to have something new posted soon! Hang in there guys!

Exciting News!

Yay- My husband just got a promotion!  Boo- The hours suck! Noon to 11pm Wed-Sat. YAY- I will suddenly have a WHOLE lot of free time to work on fanfics!  I plan on getting back into updating Awake on a semi regular schedule, and maybe working a few other ideas floating around in my head.

Catelyn never really liked it, but she was just going to have to grow used to his presence in her daughters life whether she willed it or not. He was not paying all that much attention as he pushed the door open, going over in his head just what he was going to say to Sansa, to his little bird, for his lack of appearance over the last few weeks, but even then he was able to pick up on the utter silence in the room.

I'm gonna end up watching Mythbusters all day and get no amount of writing done.  I don't know if I really see a problem with this.

Drogo grinned, that full grin that stretched across his face and made his eyes crinkle. Leaning across the space between them, he placed one overly large hand on her cheek before covering her lips with his own in a chaste kiss. Dany smiled into the kiss, amazed at the feelings of butterflies in her stomach that she still got after all these years, reaching up to cup her husband’s face with her small palm.

So when I said easily another 1k words, I should have said 3k.

I just got done with the Awake update. Over 8k words. Hopefully this super long chapter makes up for time between updates.  I'm exhausted now. New chapter will be up later tomorrow!
