My ZNT SoundFit wireless headphone/headset review (w/ my Paper Dolls) - Part 3 (Final) [Sept 23, 2021] (My photos and recorded video)
This is Part 3 (and final) of my ZNT SoundFit wireless headphone/headset review (with my paper dolls).🎧🙂
Okay, remember what I said that I'll be a side comparison with my old Awei A780BL wireless headphone/headset on Wednesday 🎧🎧, and on Saturday will be my wireless connection (via Bluetooth) and wired audio test with my phone and PC (Windows 10)📲🖥? Well, it's time to make changes because I'm combining these two into one single finale package, right now! So I can have a free time and next week I'll submit my deviation post from my dA account.
If you haven't seen my Part 2, then please [CLICK ME!].
BTW: I will ignore the battery life and microphone topic for ZNT SoundFit (and also for Awei A780BL, too) because I'm solely focused on wireless connectivity and the sound quality. Uh yeah and also for gaming when connecting wireless via Bluetooth, because there is always have latency during playing games, whether from PC or from Smartphone.
So without further ado, let's get started:
Recorded Video🎦📲: [Please watch]
• As you see from my recorded video, I decided to go wireless connection test first with my Honor 8C smartphone and my Windows 10 PC (my UGREEN USB Bluetooth Adapter) using Bluetooth connection 📲🖥. As you can see I'm trying to turn on my ZNT Soundfit by pressing the power button and hear the female voice from the right earpad/earcup. Plus the led light is blinking red and blue colors.
• [Connecting with my smartphone 📲]: Once I connected through my smartphone I'm now ready to wear and hear the sounds from my ZNT SoundFit.🎧🎶 But first I'm trying to test their buttons and see if it's working... Well at first glance, it won't work well when I don't play any music. And when I play music, all three buttons are now usable (e.g. volume up and down with pressing + and -, and the power button that act as a pause/play). Speaking of which, the ZNT SoundFit focuses on bass rather than all balance. When I hear any music genre (either when I'm using a music app or Youtube), they always have that thump on both earpads/earcup. Uh yeah, and when I crack up the volume it's sort of like vibrating, and it can hear from my earpads/earcups during public spaces. Now I'm not saying that this is a bad thing, but rather quite decent. As for the wired mode, I'll get to that later.
• [Connecting with my computer🖥]: Now onto my Windows PC. With my UGREEN USB Bluetooth Adapter already plugged in, I'm ready to connect. But then, I'm having a problem with the sound... When I click the volume adjuster I can't hear from these two earcups, even if I pressed buttons for the volume it won't work at all, until a few minutes later. And that's without opening a music app or play videos on Youtube, by the way. So now I'm ready to hear some more music via PC wireless connectivity... How was it? Well, after I play some music genre (from Windows 10's Groove Music) and sometimes videos from Youtube, it is literally the same as before. I even tested on this YT video [CLICK ME!]. The ZNT SoundFit really does focus on bass sound, but I'm okay with their sound quality.
• [1st & 2nd Images]: Here you see my ZNT SoundFit is connected via wired mode from the included male-to-male 3.5mm audio cable through my Honor 8C smartphone. Hmmm... Their sound from the wired mode seems quite right, but not in the balance despite the aforementioned bass. My paper dolls approve for the sound quality though, both in wireless and wiring mode. Well good for you. It's a good thing that in wired mode won't have the same problem as the wireless mode when I pumped up the volume.
• [3rd & 4th Images]: Now for my Windows 10 PC. Well... I would say, it's the same story as my smartphone one. Now I don't usually wear headphones during my gameplay (e.g. playing game emulators, online games), and as far as I know, I don't see any problem nonetheless. Just to make sure that my headphones are fully charged when I go in wireless Bluetooth.🎮🎧 My paper dolls still wearing my new headphones, and they want me to play online games while they're listening.
• [5th & 6th Images]: Let's move on to the comparison. On the left is my old Awei A780BL, while on the right is my fresh ZNT SoundFit. And it seems that my old Awei has seen better days, look at it... It has more scars and dirt than before, and I can't explain everything why. But hey, miraculously, it functions very well. So I'm glad.
• [7th & 8th Images]: Here's an example via close-up. My Awei headphone's adjuster had duct-taped on each side with different variants. I try to use super glue but it won't stick together.
• [9th Image]: Finally, here's the right earpad/earcup between ZNT and Awei. Aside from dust-covered in some parts of my old Awei, there's also the melted part, which I glued with super glue and reattached successfully. Usually, it covers a lot of sticky tapes but now I remove it. Uh yeah, and it wobbles because the inside part is snapped.
• Now when it comes to comfort on my head and not mention my ears, the ZNT SoundFit headphones fit well... But sometimes too tight when I adjust the measure. Back then when I'm wearing my old Awei A780BL it fits just right and to this day my signature measurement still remains after I've made accidental damages for two years.
• Usually, my paper dolls are sharing together with one headphone, but since I have two headphones, they're now enjoying their music with each other! How lovely, isn't it!?
BTW: The included audio cable from ZNT is much longer than my Awei audio cable [AUX-001], at about 1.5 meters long compare to Awei's 1.0 meter. (Well... Sort of.)
• Now before I go to my overall conclusion (for my ZNT SoundFit), let's talk about the sound comparison between my ZNT SoundFit and my old Awei A780BL wireless headphones. As I said before, the sound signature of the ZNT SoundFit is all about bass over other tones, whereas the Awei A780BL is a balanced tone. And in my experience between these two, I still prefer my old Awei A780BL over my ZNT SoundFit; despite Awei's music tones are decent present than the ZNT's. I mean, at first glance I thought that the ZNT SoundFit headphones will be my replacement for my old Awei A780BL, but my mind is changed. After I've tested my two aforementioned devices using my ZNT SoundFit headphones (wireless and wired), I hear a lot of basses in every music genre. Well... Not everyone but still. Again, I don't have a problem with the ZNT's SoundFit, but if only could tweak the bass down it'll become improved.
• Now let's talk about my old Awei A780BL. While the sound balance is quite impressive for me, I have some floss in my previous years of Awei's A780BL usage. For one, when I connect to my phone and start listening to music it tends to make hiccup sounds; even if I'm very close to my smartphone, the problem still remains. Two, when I press the pause/play button while connecting wireless via my Windows 10 PC It automatically shut off and I have to reconnect by pressing and hold the power button, which is very annoying. And speaking of the power button, number three is that aforementioned. Because I'm struggling to turn on and off with my big thumb, and who knows, the power button will be snapped inside - making my Awei A780BL totally useless in wireless mode. So I need to be careful by not forcing it too much with my right thumb.
UPDATE [Sept. 27th, 2021]:
• The singing voice from wearing my SoundFit headphone is pretty decent on both wired and wireless mode. Also, the pump-up volume high in wireless mode is off the charts, and not in a good way. Because it can hear the music in close range during public. At least it won't happen in wired mode and I can feel free to pump up the volume. As for the connectivity, it's pretty quick to connect on my either smartphone and PC than my old Awei A780BL. And although it didn't offer double wireless connection devices simultaneously because SoundFit uses Bluetooth ver. 4.1 (which is quite old) it's still pretty solid connectivity. As for its wireless connection range is about 20+ meters, which is the same range as my old Awei headphones (from using my PC with Ugreen USB Bluetooth Adapter); unlike my old Awei however, my ZNT Soundfit won't have sound hiccups when I play videos or listening some music... Well, at least for now but only time will tell if my SoundFit has sound hiccups or not.
• It was a good sound test with my ZNT SoundFit headphones and doing a comparison with my old Awei A780BL. The latter is still my favorite balanced sound wireless headphones over my ZNT SoundFit. And don't get me wrong, I'm enjoyed wearing and listening to music, with my current owned ZNT headphones. But with muffled sound, too much bass, and the volume is way high in wireless mode I expect to tweak the music gears a little bit.🔧🎶 But otherwise, it's a good headphone that I purchased.👍
*Sigh*... Damn! I made another pretty long lecture review of my ZNT SoundFit, and I don't have enough time to put some emojis on every part, so I'm only put a few. I deserve a big rest, but I need to get up because I have to share my main social media accounts. And after that, I want to drink a nice cup of warm chocolate milk! Mmmmm, tasty! My paper doll loves chocolate milk, you know!😋🍫🥛
Anyways, that is the end of my topic.
