How do you not throw up for 20 years tho? I throw up maybe once a month in a good month.

I don’t know, man, I just never really got sick like that after about five. I didn’t socialise much with other kids when I was little so I wasn’t exposed to the norovirus often and I don’t drink. I feel nauseous a lot but never actually get there until today. I did bring up my breakfast once after taking Robitussin a few years ago, but I don’t really count that against tonight’s Exorcist shenanigans.

Exhibitor badges do not give special privileges to the badge holders other than allowing them in the exhibit hall during exhibit set up/closing times. It depends on the specific vendor but in general they do not give special privileged access to buy exclusives before anyone else. But once again it depends on the general if your friends etc kind of stuff.

Orphan black was in room 7ab last year which holds ~500. Not 6a which is double in size.

My mistake! I wasn't at the Orphan Black panel last year, so I'd mistakenly heard that they were in the 6A then too. Sorry about that! 

Either way, I think SDCC has sorely underestimated the amount of Orphan Black fans both years. Doubling the size of the room obviously wasn't enough! I've personally made other plans for Friday evening, because I'm not chancing the line to get in to the Orphan Black panel, and I'm sure there would be others out there too who'd go see it if it was in a larger room and they had more of a shot of getting in. I think Orphan Black could've gone into 6BCF and filled it up quite nicely. But I don't blame them for not wanting to quadruple Orphan Black's room size this year, just in case.

For clarification, my knee injury + heels inquiry was for a fic where the main character has suffered a knee injury. I'm thinking a dislocation, because I have had two friends who have dislocated their knees and one had another dislocation when she was walking down some stairs and just popped her patella back in place by herself, while the other needed crutches for a long time and then knee surgery and physio. So it seems like a good injury to use because there can be complications and it can be aggravated or re-injured. It's a nice, flexible injury that can be massively inconvenient and also very emotional. Perfect for a fic.

And then the heels come into it. Because like... I know that there are things recommended for aiding recovery of a patellar dislocation, and I'm betting that wearing heels is gonna be on that list. (From the various foot and leg people I've talked to, heels seem to be awful for health in general.) But this character isn't likely to follow his doctor's orders if it doesn't suit him, and I'm wondering what kind of knee pain from wearing heels while recovering from that kind of injury might feel like? If your knee gives out on you again can you feel it coming, or is it a sudden 'oh shit' moment? Throw some info and anecdotes at me?

Let's take a minute to appreciate my sister, Jenalee. Yes, we're both named Jen(n), I know it's weird. She's a badass that's puts up with a lot of random bullshit from me, but can always be counted on to bail me out or spoil me when I need her. She knows way too much about everything and is the best person to go to when you want something new and entertaining. Most of all she's my sister and knows me better than pretty much everyone in the world with absolutely no judgement. I may not see her as often anymore, but now that she's moving like 500 miles away I'm sad to see her go.
