here at awesome window manager, one of our core values when it comes to our programming is that it's none of our fucking business. if you want some weird obscure features like "changing your speaker volume" you can go make it yourself in your rc.lua dipshit
took me a hot sec to get used to i3's manual tiling again. i need to look into the possibility of tabs in awesomewm bc i will miss that as a feature, but for simple stuff (2-3 window splits, sticking stuff on multiple tags for dynamic workflow) it's much faster than i3

removed every single line from the sample rc.lua that still lets the thing boot up
removed some extra lines on top of that. write them yourself
removed all examples from the documentation. you figure it out
