Never fun to have to redo a piercing, but I've always felt it better to admit your mistake and fix it, instead of letting it walk out the door to "save face".

SIGH I am not confrontational enough to tell someone they are being an absolute idiot by encouraging someone to get their nose pierced with a gun because "had mine done with gun twice never had a problem with it many ofther people i know had gun, i was going to have needle but it frecked me out when it was near my face so just had gun" seriously she said: "It's fine just don't get it done with a needle"
idk if you want a piercing that bad (which of course you must, in my opinion) then you'll get over your fear for a few short seconds and revel in the knowledge that needles are more hygienic than guns (though tbf they are probably not going to a reputable studio [read: that has sterile equipment] to get pierced in the nostril with a gun anyway)
IDK
With the helix soaks, my friend used to have a silicone cup (I think it was some sort of egg-poaching cup) and it was much easier because she could just hold it in her hand and just lean on her hand for a few minutes.
This could work too.
Hello! I have three helix piercings on each ear and I was wondering, how would I effectively perform a soak on them? I can make the solution fine, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to actually soak my piercings because of the placement.
What I did when I had helix piercings is I'd put the soak in a bowl (like a cereal bowl, though it could work with a more...ear-sized container), warm it up, put it on a table, turn on the TV, and dip my ear into it. New soak for your other ear, repeat. Have a paper towel ready to dry off the side of your face/ear because the whole thing will probably be wet.
Pick a table that is a good height for your head/neck because the neck cramping will be uncomfortable if not.

Anyone else have a good way to do this?

Submitter comment: Because almost the only things I watch on youtube are things found here, youtube likes to suggest piercing videos for me. I decided to click this one for funsies... Oh dear.
What's awful: Jewelry types for surface piercings are incorrect (should not be just using a 90degree barbell, but one with TRUE 90degree "bends" from anatometal or IS), CBRs in attempt at permanent corset piercing (If you're going to try a permanent corset piercing, you should use surface anchors and change the ends on them when fully healed), general misinformation.
How it can be fixed: Just take it all out, stop picking at your piercings (I know, it's hard, but...), and find a better piercer.
I could give her some slack if this were posted to youtube like 5 years ago, but it was posted in Jan 2012 and there is no excuse for that amount of misinformation.
Thank you for introducing me to that site! Seriously found a lot of information on more than just stretching! And I shall have a happy stretching (;
:) glad to hear!
