@awinetintedmuse - I have been digging the banter with Darcy (from iamdarcylewis) which is like, I think that Dionysus really thrives with characters who kind of naturally suspend their disbelief but still retain a little bit of a sarcastic edge. ALSO, it’s been a minute, but I used to read everything they wrote with Cat Grant (literal legend pulitzerpanther) which was just like, idk I like that Dionysus can be very upbeat like ‘oh isn’t this just neat?!’ and also kind of flirty and sultry. It’s a nice range of dynamics that all ring true within the character, and I enjoy that.
@iiingenious - oh my god, so recently, they started a thread with Spade (or whatever you personally call her over at ladyofthespade) and it’s so intriguing? I love a good thread where one character is completely being duped, and I think that iiingenious has done a fantastic job of writing that obliviousness to where like, I’ve been reading this thread and Felt Anxious bc just baby boy!! There’s often this like heart-of-gold boy-next-door quality in Tim that like, makes sense for a character that has so much to live up to, and which I love reading.
@ceolenaluthor - me, thinking about all of the threads i read over here: I just think they’re neat lol. umm, ok, there’s this longer thread with John Constantine (that’s ur boy at thecursedhellblazer) and I am very into that dynamic. There’s like, a lot of threads on this blog (and I read them a lot shhh). But here’s the thing, genius intellect aside, Lena is essentially a normal person, and in the same way I love Lois and Clark, I love smart CEO Lena Luthor and kind-hearted superhero Kara Supergirl Danvers. Anyway, I won’t choose. But I will say I like when this character gets the opportunity to allow the cracks to show (like maybe she’s alone in a bar in Gotham or maybe it’s relating to a person in a tough spot) because ceolenaluthor will step right in there and never disappoint.
@glitchexmachina - So I know this isn’t about a specific thread, but I love the frequency with which Glitch mentions Pokemon Go. Like, what a huge nerd. That’s one of the reasons I like the character so much, he’s just like, unabashedly a nerd. But specifically, I do like the threads with queenofthewarehouse because they always manage to be a little funky and off-center. But Glitch does like, fit really well in the world of comics, so I also like to read threads with Marvel characters, just for a nice change of content sometimes. I think how easily any comic book character can interact with Glitch really speaks to the mun’s understanding of those stories and of the character they write - that’s like, I know that OCs are a labor of love, and that’s super obvious here.
