how much do we have to stick to canon? i've never played a canon harry potter character before and I'm worried about being inaccurate
It really depends! You certainly don’t have to stick to canon endgames or ships. I would say the most important thing is that you have a good idea of how your character would react in certain situations. Ideally, their mindset would be very similar to how your character would react in a canon world. I would highly recommend delving into the Harry Potter wikia if you’re not completely familiar with the Harry Potter or Marauder world. Read your character’s page, their friends’ pages, and their family members’ pages! Look at their search tag and see what some Harry Potter oriented blogs have to say about them!
I do expect that players have a good understanding of the Harry Potter world and can understand how it would translate to this world, but if you have even a small background in Harry Potter, you should be able to pick up the information pretty easily! Again, feel free to send me any questions about specifics if they come up!
do you ever just hate the idea of someone and then you meet them and you actually hate them instead of just the idea
😒
wow acting class teacher gave me n mia a scene for the course and on the last day told us that she was going to be in that play as the character she had assigned me to awk

"As much as I'm sure you'd make a wonderful mother, I think that may be scientifically impossible. Maybe we could get a cat instead?"
