Below is a request to create a fake story and have it start at chapter 3. After I made this one one of officialataxia voice actor's awkwaben did an audio recording of this.
Chapter 3: Precautions
By Devon Nicholson (Kildros)
If even by now you are still contemplating suicide the least I may offer you is a list of truths.
In death there is no release.
I have been dead for months and I can assure you I have felt no easiness of life. It seems the troubles I had in living plague me even in death. What more evidence of the suffering do you need to deter you from damnation? I say that not to entertain the idea that there is a heaven. If there was one, I will never know it because this existence is the juxtaposition.
In death there is no retribution.
I told you once before that death comes with no reward. In time all things come to an end. There will be an end to the mourning. For a time you will watch them weep; your loved ones. A short time; soon enough you will only be thought of in passing. Then suddenly you are just a memory. Your enemies will not feel sympathy. In fact they will mock you, see you as a coward. They will feel that your death removed you from an equation to which you were some inessential variable. “The world’s been done a favor.” There is no God to pity you and no Devil to torment. You may think you’ve left the pain and suffering behind but you’ve just closed a door and opened another, labeled eternity.
In death there is an afterlife.
How is this a precaution you say? Well, in life we never knew if it was a certainty. Is there life after death? I assure you something does come but it is nothing like we could ever have known. I spoke to you once of the Illusory realm. A place in which reality is augmented and the rules of the living do not apply to the dead. I apologize but this was a lie; a bit of fantasy in hopes that you would get this far. Far enough for me to warn you of what was to come.
In death there is sensation.
Yes, sensation. Complete Kinesthesia.
Even as I type this message to you I can still feel the smooth surface of the keys. I can hear them clicking against the trigger points and see them appear. I write this to you from above the restaurant downstairs. The intoxicating aroma of spices and seasonings; the moment they enter my nostrils my mouth begins to water, and so do my eyes. I can taste them as they roll down my cheek and enter the corner of my mouth; pain filled tears that remind me of delicacies that I will never savor again. Oh yes, there is feeling in death, and pain is certainly one of them. It feels as real as it would in any scenario. I can still be bruised, cut, burned, and even though I’ve moved from the source the feeling takes longer to subside. You will never be numb to them.
In death there is no companionship.
Misery loves company? No, it does not. I’ve seen countless others die and I have seen no other spirit. I am however left to wander this earth just as I did in the living. I can stand, sit, and walk among the living but I do so unseen. You and I have actually been in contact before. I occupy the empty chairs on the bus each morning. I’ve whispered in your ear to remind you of what you have forgotten. I apologize for those nightly chills. I cannot help but caress your beautiful skin. I kept my skin just as soft as yours when I was alive. Don’t think of writing back to me.If you did, I could never read it. Death has made it certain that every facet of my existence is one dimensional. You’ve bumped into me on occasion and it was if I was never there.
Do not worry, I have since stopped doing such things. You were much younger then, now you’ve married and my youthful perversions are far too inappropriate. If you do not wish to continue reading I can understand, but I do hope you reconsider. I have written this to you not to confess of my solicitation, but to again caution against your most recent declaration. I have chosen to share with you my reality because I feel that your life has more value than you prescribe it. Your life has a much greater purpose and only in living will you ever hope to find it.
I’ve told you what I had done when I died, but now I wish to explain to you how it all happened.
