WELCOME TO PLENTYOFMALK’S FITZSIMMONS FIC APPRECIATION SERIES.
Because if you’ve ever so much as tried to brainstorm for a 200 word drabble, you know that writing fanfiction is a labor of love. Doing this as a series on my blog has been an idea bouncing around in my head for a while, because my AO3 bookmarks are a treasure trove of good content. And since writers deserve all the boosts they can get, and we’ve got a hiatus on our hands, I figured, “why the heck not?” Also I finally made a gif for it so now I feel prepared.
I hope to highlight a wide range of things: authors you know but pieces you haven’t read, classics in the fandom, one-offs from long ago that deserve another round of attention, you name it. The hope is to give a boost to all the stellar people who provide us with more FitzSimmons love than we know what to do with.

Appreciation: I got really lucky and found this oneshot right off the bat when I first dove into the FitzSimmons fandom. You’ve got an AU that still keeps everyone true to character (as of season one), a great team dynamic, and plenty of pining. Plus I love the idea that Fitz would be a MythBusters fan. It’s just a delightful dose of well-written fluff and deserves to be appreciated. (Also if you enjoy it, I would also recommend their ‘a better communication’ series as well...)
