I agree with your commentary on the movie. Especially on Nico and Dinas friendship, which is one of my favorite parts of the series. It seemed kinda rushed in the movie; like they met, she saw his past, , and then they ran away. Also it really confused me that Dina actually shamed Drakan, because she was never able to do that in the book (as far as i remember). It was really aestheticly pleasing though, and at times i really got the same feeling from movie as i did from the book
Yes, definitely! It was strange. “Hey, I just met you. I saw your past and you puked. We fought a guy and I now trust you with my life and we’re best friends. Now give me a piggyback ride.” I understand that they had to cut a lot to make the movie possible, but they could’ve developed Nico and Dina’s friendship more. (And maybe not...killed him off half of the movie. They can save that for the last one.) When the movie was over, one of my friends who haven’t read the book asked me “They end up together, right?” and I was completely blank as to who she meant. She meant Nico and Dina. Obviously people can ship whoever they want, but you’re not supposed to be thinking that after the first book/movie.
The Drakan stuff was just weird, and I didn’t comment on it in my post because I have no idea what to think about it. Like, I don’t even know what they want us to think? Are we supposed to believe that Drakan feels guilty about everything else that he has done, but not these murders, and that’s what Dina saw, or is Dina supposed to be some kind of super-shamer? (Does any of this makes sense?) Drakan isn’t ashamed, and he doesn’t feel guilty about anything, that’s a huge part of his character, and it’s what makes him so scary, that he can do anything without remorse.
I agree about it looking very nice, it was very well done. It did have the same tone as the book, which was nice. One thing I think they did really well was Dama Lizea. The scene where she attacks Dina in the book is for me one of the most iconic scenes, and it translated so well to screen. She is just as creepy on screen as she is in the book, if you ask me.

If you had a super power, what would it be? why? I would like to see when people lied to my. And make people feel ashamed over bad actions they did by looking them in their eyes. Because it is really useful both in movies and in real life to know who to trust or not. And to make people be aware over their concience. It irritates me when people don't have good morals like when they go around and murder, rape, cheating etc. So this super power is a way to make more people be good to each other. 4. What do you do when you can’t sleep at night? Listen to music and make up a story in my head 5. What are you most proud of? Be almost finish with one year in the military without quitting. Denmark is pretty fucking chill about most things - except from Kanelsnegle, Lakridspiper and Allan Simonsen and I think that says a lot about us a a nation...
I really does! Fucking kanelsnegle. even the science website Videnskab.dk I follow on facebook posts about kanelsnegle all the time!
But then again there's also stuff like all that fuss about Yahya Hassan though, because that is making people angry
I read "chill" as "chili" at first and immediately thought of chili Klaus
