About not being able to enter the Alienage, you can't even do that with a City Elf Origin. The place is closed to /everyone/ because of plot.

Well, it depends. Sometimes it is the same as Europe, sometimes it's earlier, sometimes it's later. Europe itself generally has one set release date throughout, but there have been occasions where a game might come out a few days earlier in one country compared to another.
We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. It's been announced that it's October 10th in Europe, but I'm not sure how much of Europe that means.
Which comics do ou reccomend to get into Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain? They seem great (I've read a lot of fanfic where they were included) but I don't really know where to start with them and what issues are horrible and should be avoided, I'd like some advice on that. Also, are there any arcs where Batman is fatherly towards them or the boys that you would reccomend?
batman is p. much never fatherly toward Steph, sad but true, he kind of treats her either abominably or like a tool the entire time. Like I think the only time it even happens where it’s not tainted by other bullshit is one issue of Gotham Knights (#22, here) where he was kinda nice to her and the issue of Detective Comics where she was Robin (#796, here) I recommend both of those, by the way, they’re good issues. He is fatherly towards Cass throughout a chunk of her Batgirl run (if still fairly terrible at it half the time, but he…tried?), pre all the bullshit they did with her.
Cass was introduced in the No Man’s Land crossover, which is a mostly good read. Check it. I’d recommend Cassandra’s entire series as Batgirl. It is a stellar series, and it’s all available on comixology. renaroo is doing a very good rundown of it, so check out her stuff on it. Basically it’s the majority of Cass’s story and Steph is featured quite a bit too. I would NOT suggest reading her appearances in Robin as an evil villian, the Batgirl miniseries later written by Adam Beechen or her appearances in Teen Titans. These are all horrible and grossly out of character- most of the issues she appears in taking place after her series ends are in fact. Probably the only thing worth reading her in post-Batgirl is the “Gates of Gotham” miniseries.
For Steph, the wiki I made back when I was, like, 15 has a complete list of her appearances and there’s the chronology k9feline made for the wiki. Basically, she debuts in an arc in Detective Comics, and from there on the majority of her appearances are in Robin. For her, the comics that are horrible and need to skipped are anything to do with War Games.

The bad Bat crossover (almost universally reviled and agreed to be low quality by fans) where Steph was humiliated, blamed, tortured, and murdered. Consumer Alert: If you ever liked Steph, you DON’T want to collect any of the following:

Thanks, K9feline! Yeah, reading this is signing up for horribly sexualized torture sequences against Steph where she is victim-blamed up the wazoo. I’d also avoid Robin #128 and Gotham Knights #37 as she gets fired and treated fairly badly in those.
Stephanie returns to life in an arc of Robin written by her creator that’s pretty decent, robin 170-174. There’s also the Robin/Spoiler special, which is okay for Steph, but I have to warn one of the stories has really cringeworthy racism in it (Steph fights fanatical African people who believe in magic and reject science!!!)
The arc in Robin after this is written by Fabian Nicieza and it is basically shit for her character and ends with her getting yelled at, so yeah, I’d suggest skipping it. The next thing to pick up after her return is the Batgirl series she stars in. Here it is on Comixology. This is a good, fun little series and I guess basically the only time in comics where Steph was given a really positive push and support as a hero and really develops her relationship with Babs- the downside is that Cassandra is basically shoved to the side and then completely forgotten in it. So good for Steph fans, terrible for Cass fans. As a fan of both, it was like being torn in half.
As for arcs where Batman is fatherly. Uh, there’s the Batman Family miniseries! Also Gotham Knights was pretty good for that sort of thing. I dunno, not coming up with stuff at the top of my head. I think renaroo has a lot of stuff you could check out, just browse her rambles masterlist.
Appropo of nothing there is one issue of Batman: The Brave and The Bold where all the Robins team up and it’s adorable and has great Robin feels and Steph’s in it (and Cass, for one panel!).

I'm just....not surprised by the endings announcement, really. It ties into the main reasons I favor DA over ME. Possible vague references to spoilers below...

I looked through your Basara tag and saw you were worried about the Sarasa/Shuri romance downplaying Shuri murdering people, but you didn't mention it in your review. Do you think it was dealt with well, in the end?
haha it’s been so long I can’t really remember. I do remember when he lost his arm he felt it was sort of what he deserved or something? And that he did feel pretty intense guilt over what he’d done, at least to Sarasa? So it was addressed to some degree, at least.
