Last night, I came home from a full day of hospice chaplaincy to find one of our boi cats howling in pain. Emergency vet visit followed. He had an untreatable Saddle Thrombus, requiring humane euthanasia. He was a rescue and we loved him so much. He loved belly rubs and fulminating, and yes, his cat cookies. Jason of the Golden Fleece (now Golden Whiskers) now romps in fields of catnip over the Rainbow Bridge.
