Zelda was not happy to have an appointed knight. If what people were saying was correct, she should be more than capable of protecting herself and Hyrule. But...She hasn’t been able to tap into her power yet. No one can help her. Not since her mother passed.
Link was able to handle the Master Sword. Seal the darkness away. If she could just do her job there wouldn’t be a need for it. But of course, here she was powerless, being shown everyday by her knight that she was a failure.
It was a bright and sunny day. She was just up on the Plateau collecting samples of plants and looking at the skyline. As she glanced over her shoulder she caught glimpse of Link. “You don’t need to follow me. I’m not a child and I can protect myself. Anyways, there is no threat here on the Plateau. So please. If you will. Leave.”
