but really i think a lot about cass not being able to "hear the music" at dio's party and what would happen if these two actually interacted

right???? like i feel like that creates a connection right there. it’s sort of implied that at the other gods’ performances, even though she didn’t feel anything, she could still see what was going on. but at the rave she legit just sees a roomful of people dancing to nothing. and it’s just her– even woden, who chooses not to dance, still hears the music. 

dionysus’ whole schtick is he wants to make as many people happy as possible. cassandra’s seems to be finding truth and sharing that knowledge, also with as great a number of individuals as she can. they’re sort of on parallel and somewhat opposing lines. how does dio help cass claim happiness, how much truth does she show him? can he accept her inability to feel joy as much as him, and can she empathize with his decision to ignore some of life’s information to feel better?

they’re challenges for each other, but not in the “can they ‘fix’ each other” way. they’re just two very different people who could learn a lot from each other and maybe might not have anyone else who understands what it’s like to be as alone as they are.

Sexuality Headcanon: I generally think him as het, but I don’t dislike him as bi.A ship I have with said character: KiriAn is so full of hate-to-love dynamics for me not to love it. Also Akaya/Shiraishi is pretty entertaining when you think about how Yukimura would react to that. KiriHiyo is also a thing I’ve never really thought about until few days ago and still, here I am.A BROTP I have with said character: Next Generation Puppies being bros together and failing to rule the respective teams together and being absolute dorks when they finally face each other on the court is literally the best thing. All four of them.A NOTP I have with said character: I don’t particularly like any ship with Yukimura or Sanada? I don’t hate it, but it still feels weird to me. A little less weird with Yanagi, but still not among my favourites.A random headcanon: he never remembers peoples’ birthdays, and always mess everything up because he also never learns to not believe in all the bullshit Niou said to him. Like suggest him to give his best wishes to Sanada on Grandparent’s day.General Opinion over said character: Akaya is a puppy and an angel. Period. He may get way too passionate from time to time (okay, that’s a little euphemism), but I love how he never knows how to give up. He simply doesn’t, and despite the fact that his teammates keep defeating him over and over again, no matter how much he tries to became stronger, he still look up to them and respect them over everyone else?!  And I just don’t want to think about how lost he must be for the first weeks after they graduate, okay, bye.

Carves the pumpkin: Hiyoshi buys the pumpkin, Zaizen makes the stencil, but Akaya is the one who carves it because HE MUST

Gets scared and clings the other in a haunted house: omg Akaya. Hiyoshi is like the king of picking which haunted houses to go to and Zaizen just had an Akaya permanently attached to his arm even tho Akaya SWEARS he won’t get scared

Matching costume idea: ZAIZEN. Zaizen makes all of next gen original Super SENTAI outfits because he’s has plans.

Makes a cozy bed-fort to cuddle in: Akayabis the best at making pillow forts and They all three love cuddling together inside one and watching Halloween movies

Steal’s the other’s candy: THIS IS WAR THEY ARE ALL BAD ABOUT THIS

Accidentally gets lost in a corn maze: Zaizen. He never pays attention to where he’s going and Akaya just follows Hiyoshi the whole time so Zaizai easily gets split up from the group because he’s looking at his phone what a loser.

Tells spooky stories to scare the other: Hiyoshi. He. Has. So. Many. Scary. Stories.

Collects cool-looking leaves: Hiyoshi! Akaya doesn’t care enough and Zaizen thinks it’s a waste of time~
