When you make your drinks, do you use the voss water or are you just reusing the bottle? I was thinking about making some cause yours look really awesome.
I reuse the bottle and use regular water!!! And sometimes sparkling water if I think it’ll suit the drink better :)
TBH, the actual Voss Water isn’t really all that great imho….. And where I live in Melbourne, we actually have reallllyyyy good tap water (which tastes better than Voss Water lmao).
My suggestion is to not bother with buying Voss Water just for the water, but for the bottle (and in regards to costs, lil explanation here)! But, really, you can use most other glass bottles or jars instead if you prefer! Or even buy a specific bottles made for fruit infusion drinks!
So, basically, regular still/tap/whatever water you prefer will do fine. As long as you enjoy it and it’s clean then yeeeee go for it! You can even get a little fancier and use tea instead if you like ;)
Also little additional notes, and some more here:
Better and stronger flavour the longer you leave it to seep. I like to keep mine in the fridge overnight!
If you don’t have time to leave it overnight/forgot, you can also add ice! Just let it seep for 15~30 min (or longer if you can) for some flavour!
Do not have the same fruits inside for longer than 24 hours. Usually one bottle with the fruits inside can last you a whole day before you clean it out!
But don’t throw away the fruits inside after you finish drinking your first fill! Just refill it with water, let it seep, and yeeee another drink for you! Of course you lose the nutrients and flavour after a few (mine usually go for 3~5 fills) so there’s that to take into consideration.
Don’t cut the pieces too large! The pieces should be just a bit smaller than the opening of the bottle and be able to slide in easily and not have to be forced in. That way you won’t have trouble taking them out at the end of the day!
Substitute sugar and artificial sweetener with 100% natural honey instead ;)
