I just read your red flags on voice teachers post and it literally describes my musical theatre lecturer at college lol just felt the need to tell you!! she's a crap teacher :/
Uh oh...
Can someone who is more of a mezzo-sop than a sop play Cosette? I'd say no but some people think it's possible idk
I really hate vocal typing because it makes people feel limited by a word instead of their actual abilities. Can this person sing Cosette’s C6 easily? if she can and sounds good then she could usually identify as alto and still be a great Cosette.
I was in Urinetown and my Hope Cladwell was an Alto but sang Hope’s A or B5 and sounded amazing.
What do you guys think? To me, what vocal range you usually play doesn’t matter. Just if you’re good at THIS role and these songs
Just wanted to send you a message thanking you for running this blog and for all the help you have given me! I've even written down a few quotes from your blog to look at when I need to! You're amazing for keeping this up despite any personal issues you're having and I visit your blog pretty much daily :) x
Thank you so much! Ha, I’m always writing down quotes from other people, so it’s an honor that other people write down things I say to help them out!
So proud of you for doing your chocolate challenge Kitty! Xx
Thank you love <3 Now I just need to make sure I keep it up, fancy joining me? ;) xxx
