that can't be comfortable
Was watching OPLA and enjoying it like I always do, and was thinking about Axe-Hand Morgan. A giant axe replacing his hand might seem badass, but in real life it'd be such a god damn pain in the ass, especially when you look at the anime version where he has that addition that goes beyond his elbow.
It's such a shitty prosthetic when you think about it. It'd be one thing if he had a variety of attachments and the axe was one of them but this is a permanent installation, presumably. Out of combat (and intimidation and/or chopping wood) it's just not very good as a prosthetic. Can't eat with it. Can't grab or handle more delicate things like a pen.
Can't spin the axe around like you might a sword or even a regular axe because of how it's fixed on him, so Morgan is pretty limited in the angles he can use the blade at. (To confirm, I went to the OP Wiki, and it did confirm that the handle of the axe is bolted right through Morgan's bones)
And holy fuck, I can't even imagine what it'd like to try to find a comfortable sleeping position (or reclining position in a nice armchair) with that god damn thing stuck on my arm, pretty sure I'd end up cutting myself at some point.
