it’s not that simon has been intentionally avoiding axel---with it being peak festival season and all, simon’s found enough excuses to make himself busy in the days and weeks following wayfinder. but even just not actively trying to talk to axel was noticeable, as simon had gone out of his way on more than one occasion to see him in the past. in any case, when he sees axel innocuously running errands downtown, he’s more than a little surprised. ❝ hey, axel. how’ve you been ? ❞ he greets.
