I'm obsessed with how the mangaka purposefully draw him very cat-like. And I just so happened to love cats so much too! Him and Soshiro are definitely two different kinds of "cats" lol.

Soshiro was using a gun in the first episode??
I was going through some details and skipping through scenes and I thought I was tripping when I saw him charge in battle with a GUN 😭 It's crazy seeing him equipped with one but it's even crazier see him fight using it omfg
Also I noticed that he was also equipped with one during the examination of recruits, where all Kaiju have a low fortitude for examination purposes. The first Kaiju that emerged in ep 1 only has a fortitude of 3.5, and it has been noted several times that his combat power for long-range weapons are significantly low, so maybe he doesn't need that much power from his blades when dealing with low fortitude Kaiju.
That said, I'm really curious about 1) What situation entails him to use a gun, like in this scene and 2) what was his actual power for long-range weapons?
