axoguinus: a gender related to axolotls and olms
thought process: axo- coming from axolotl, -guinus coming from the scientific species name for olms. another name for it would’ve been axomeous with the -eous coming from aqueous, since they’re both aquatic animals. i drew little pudgy axolotls and olms on the ends of the flag. they were rather quick (i apologize, krita wasn’t working properly today) making the olm black instead of a light pink giving reference that both axolotls and olms come in pink and black. the top half of the flag is a reference to the caves and murky waters they live in, bottom half is for the notable pink tone and gills they usually have feedback would be nice :) let me know if anything needs to be altered
